Pat Delgado has passed away.

Pat Delgado, famous for being the person who started serious research into what became known as crop circles, passed away at 8.30 AM (U.K.) today in Winchester Hospital, Hampshire, England. Pat was a very young 90 years of age, when cancer struck and took a very rapid toll in recent weeks.

He was a compassionate and sensitive human being, an excellent engineer and reputable healer. He was a dear friend and my co-author who was largely responsible for one of the happiest periods of my life.

I send my deepest and most sincere condolences to Norah (his Wife), Jan (only Daughter) and Guy (Grandson) who did all they could in such distressing circumstances. Love to you all.

In New York last week:

Joint presentations by Edgar Mitchell and Colin Andrews in New York yesterday was a huge success for the Friends of the Institute of Noetic Sciences.

The theatre was full and almost the entire audience remained during questions and beyond. Strong evidence was presented by both speakers that the study of human consciousness is where a number of wide ranging studies have lead. The UFO and crop circles to name but two.

Andrews showed cases of bizarre placement of designs which had been prayed for ahead of time, and at specific locations. Both had been met.

Cases exist that involve people making crop circles but in these cases they have had intensions of making specific patterns but for various reasons have not. But in the fields where they intended to make the patterns, they appeared but not made by them. The same patterns, the same fields and the same nights. Something totally bizarre is happening he said.

Strange sounds have been recorded around the circles and analyzed to show they are almost identical and very close to Dolphin communication and US submarine frequencies.

A design of great interest has shown up in his research which is being further studied because of the nature of the events that have surrounded it.

He suggested that it’s conceivable that the hoaxing began as either an intended manipulation of two men which started a deliberate social experiment or that this has simply been the accidental outcome.

Evidence is beginning to stack that suggests there is a plan and that we are all involved in it. His future research will be carried out into Consciousness.

Edgar Mitchell spoke in great detail about his own view of consciousness and his private efforts to encourage more openness about the UFO subject, because as he said if for no other reason, we have to get off this planet some time soon.

The two speakers clearly respected each other and complimented each other well during one totally enjoyable and informative afternoon and evening.

Tree Trilling

In the late 80s I became curious about the different sounds I had heard in and round crop circles. I thought they might be emanating from the ground. I wondered how I could check this so I had the idea of putting two metal probes into the ground and connecting them with leads to a jack plug which I inserted into the microphone socket of a standard cassette tape recorder. Depending where I used the probes, the result was very interesting. I began playing back what I had recorded and was amazed at the different sounds of humming, clicking, buzzing and a mixture of other sounds.

In my garden I have a large sturdy Blue Cedar tree and as it was well connected to the ground I wondered if it carried any recordable sounds. At about one and a half metres up from the ground I inserted a probe through the bark and into the live wood underneath and I pushed the other probe into the ground about half a metre out from the trunk and recorded. The result was staggering – I was listening to a musical trilling sound.

Since that day I have recorded the same sound from various trees ranging over a very wide area. Despite enquiries, I have no answer as to how these trilling sounds are generated.

The report on Colin Andrews website regarding the trilling sound we encountered at the Cheesefoot Head crop circle generated much interest.

Through a fellow researcher, Miles Johnston, I contacted Win Keech who has filmed what strongly appears to be the formation of crop circles. I mentioned the trilling sound to him that I had recorded and the similarity between this and the crop circle trilling. He was intrigued when I played a sample of the tree trilling over the phone. The Tragic discovery of Paul Vigay's body.

Friday morning I was expecting to hear from Paul after exchanging a number of e-mails during the week about the 1989 Cheesefoot Head sound analysis he did for me (on my website).

I was looking out for his anticipated message when I received an e-mail from Kerry McKenna with Paul's name in the subject line. Instead of the reply I was expecting from Paul it was the shocking news that his body had been discovered washed up in the English Channel at Southsea, near where he lived.

Like many of my research colleagues and friends I am deeply shocked and upset at this terrible loss. Paul was reliable and trusted by all of his friends and others who knew him. A genuinely nice person and a highly intelligent young man. We had carried out a number pf projects together over the years since I first met him at the launch of 'Circular Evidence' near Winchester in 1989. Paul met me there with his lovely Mother, who could hardly contain her love for him. I could see where his gentle nature came from.

He visited my home in Andover several times with every known electronic gadget known to man and even more amazing was that he knew how they all worked.

I wondered if I should share a strangeness in our final correspondence this week. I believe there is no harm in doing so, I also shared this with my friend Dave Haith a short while ago.

It was as if we knew we were saying goodbye to each other ahead of time.

One day before Paul was reported missing, Wednesday (Feb 18th) in what was to be the last e-mail from Paul at 3.41 pm (UK), he said:..............";Anyway, keep up the good work, and I'm sure that those genuine seekers for the truth will be able to wade through the various arguments and politics, if they don't get fed up in the meantime! - Best regards Paul".

My reply to him and the last e-mail sent read:

Paul, I want you to know its the open and fair way you conduct yourself that I admire and tell others about. I so appreciate and like your approach. I cant see how anyone would find a problem with that approach but as we both know, somehow they do........OK, have a good one Paul. Best to you Colin"

At around 7.0 pm US Eastern time, Mid-night in England, I went to the barn to feed our animals and had the most eerie feeling, of quiet, peace also of presence. A very strange feeling Ive had before when terrible things like this have happened. ;I came back to our house and told my wife about the feelings. I later learned that this was one hour after Paul was reported missing.

Just to let everyone know that the full report promised about the Cheesefoot Head encounter is about 48 hours away. A couple of clearances are awaited and one misplaced analysis report is on its way to me by mail.

Among other things, I am aiming to re-set the research environment into the Crop Circle subject - still more important than many believe. An environment where it will be much less important to differentiate between man-made and real, where treating both as one study is where the gift of insight exists. Human Consciousness is where my research has been now for the past ten years. But now for all of us a new era has arrived, full of fear, excitement, doubts and knowing and from this amazing mix of potential we have to work our way into the future.

Just as the ingredients suggest, the outcome of applying ourselves to this cross roads where we have now reached, is wired in certainty to produce a truly wonderful or dreadful outcome. Its up to us and/or those in charge of our experiment.

After the event, Pat Delgado, retired NASA electro-mechanical design engineer a research colleague of Colin Andrews, has written the first part of an important disclosure surrounding bizarre happenings in a crop circle during 1989. Andrews believes that this is a pivotal case study which could help move the joint studies into the UFO and crop circles forward under the label of human consciousness.

Delgado discusses what appeared to be interaction between an entity and being dragged involuntarily across the crop circle while leaning backwards at an impossible angle. This was witnessed by more than half a dozen others present.

I received an e-mail on January 5, 2009 from Ned Pamphilon. Today Ned is an artist, but was once a former hospital radio presenter at The Hampstead Royal Free during the 1990's. My meeting with Uri Geller who offered to make a crop circle form with
his mind.

Uri Geller is a well known psychic living in England. He has demonstrated an ability to bend spoons with his mind as well as many other extraordinary mental feats. People who know Geller claim that inexplicable things happen around him; ball bearings fall out of free space, watches and other valuables dematerialize then re-appear in distant localities. The stories are boundless. In 1989 I began to wonder; if Uri Geller could bed spoons with is mind, could he also bend crop plants and make a circle? Was the mind the force behind the formations?

At the time I was director of Flying Saucer Review magazine. On our board as legal advisor was a well known London barrister who knew Uri Geller well. He arranged a private meeting for me at Uri’s house. I spoke of this to Bloomsbury Press, the publishing house that was soon to publish my and co-author Pat Delgado’s new book, Circular Evidence. We became excited at the idea of a book launch that included Uri using his mind to make a circle in public. By the time my meeting was arranged, Bloomsbury had already begun negotiations with Uri Geller.

The day of the meeting, the barrister and I met near Heathrow International Airport and drove to Uri's home near Reading in southern England. We arrived at the house and stopped in the driveway before large, closed gates. After we stated our names over the intercom, the gates opened slowly and we made our way to the elegant stone pillars that supported an archway to the main entrance of his expansive home. We parked opposite the main doors and walked across the gravel as his wife, Hanna, came out to greet us.

Hanna took us into the foyer where a long arcing staircase rose up and away to other levels. She called Uri and while we waited for him to come down we all went to the kitchen with their children and talked as Hanna prepared food. The atmosphere noticeably changed when Uri made his way down the staircase. His presence had a very marked charge.

Uri invited us outside to sit and relax on the patio next to his boat, tied up along side the garden overlooking the river Thames. We talked about crop circles, our research and Uri’s abilities. He asked when Circular Evidence was to be published and we talked about the proposed book launch. Bloomsbury press had been working out the details with Uri and negotiating a fee. The plan was for Uri to attempt to produce a crop circle with his mind before live television. The chosen site was next to Silbury Hill. I asked Uri how confident he was that he could actually produce one. He claimed to be completely confident.

As we talked I asked if he had any ideas about how the patterns in the fields that we had been researching had been formed and what they might mean. He said he knew both how they were made and what they meant. He claimed he had been shown identical designs during a UFO close encounter as a child in Israel. **(1) Not the first such claim I had investigated. He offered to show me sketches he had made at the time.

Unfortunately we will never know if Uri could do as he claimed, nor was I able to return and view the sketches. Bloomsbury decided the fee was too big a risk for such a complete unknown and the launch was cancelled. Although I understand Uri’s financial concerns, I do feel an extraordinary event was derailed over money. I have no doubt that Uri Geller has exceptional abilities and may have been able to pull it off. Many of Geller’s abilities are similar to those being claimed by Robbert van den Broekein in the Netherlands. It may be that due to finances, we have waited 26 years for another person to demonstrate that the phenomenon is about the human mind.

My research has led me to believe that the phenomenon is about ordinary and not so ordinary people engaged in an evolving process of consciousness. The ramifications extend in many directions. Dr. Dean Radin, director of the Consciousness Research Laboratory at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas is performing cutting edge research into these subjects. He and other scientists are beginning to question the sequencing of human thoughts and actions and are questioning some fundamental human principles, such as whether or not we are truly agents of free choice (more on this in a future 'Consciousness' article). This is the direction we must now look in regards to crop circle research. It may go a long way to explaining why people who make them feel compelled to do so.

I often wonder what would have happened if Uri had made a circle of flattened plants with his mind. Actually just bending one plant would have turned the research to a whole different direction. At this point, the only truly original crop circle research to be conducted over the past 10 years has come from people like Dr. Simeon Hines and Ron Russell who are working with the Global Consciousness Project at Princeton University.

Today’s arena demands that we move beyond simplistic, black and white thinking. It’s not about whether crop circles are being made by humans or an unknown source. This simplistic thinking must change if we are to unfold the deeper aspect of the phenomenon. As far as Uri Geller is concerned I am hopeful that he will consider future experiments in the interest of the direction current research is moving in. We are on a new road, one with the potential to change everything we thought we knew about physical reality. It’s time to put the old arguments to bed and expand our thinking to new horizons.

of fiber and being prepared to break a society construct set by deliberate

Its very important to dissect each component part of the crop circle phenomenon before developing the case for or against any particular theory or conclusion. As the investigation evolved for me, so did the key question. In 1983, the question that jumped out then was: "What created this set of swirled circles? (They didn't have a name then.)" In 1991, after I was privy to some significantly detailed claims by Doug Bowers and Dave Chorley in the presence of the Today National newspaper at Pat Delgado's home, again the question changed. That
question was then, which ones did they make? In the late 1990's I received a late evening phone call from BBC's television director, John Macnish and his wife Jayne, who were staying in The Castle Inn in Marlborough. They were staying there while filming interviews surroundinga documentary they were making about the involvement of those same two men, Doug and Dave (to be referred to as D&D). John was goodenough to consider the impact upon me, of what he believed he had discovered, before releasing it to the public. Pat Delgado and I had taken part in many TV programs for the BBC and had got to like him...

Huge crop formation discovered in England on the 8th of the 8th with large bright light

My friend and I were among the first half dozen people to
enter this huge formation below Milk Hill.

We managed to get these pictures and to interview a young
couple who witnessed a strange light here during the early
hours. We took these pictures before the hoards of people
arrived.

While it apparently rained most of the night and the
conditions in the field were wet and muddy, there was not a
trace on the surface of the plants. The formation is
absolutely superb. BEAUTIFUL!!! The lay looked as if
something flowed like water through it!

Many changes are taking place around the planet, one of the more concerning being climate change. Some will remember me voicing my own concerns for the climate during my many presentations around the world, back 20 years or so. I was particularly touched by the message sent out of Columbia by the Kogi Indians in 1991 and again referred to in my presentations. There have been many indications over a long period that we were heading here, but the message was ahead of its time it seems. Now there is overwhelming evidence that the stress that is effecting millions of species on our planet, is also effecting us and our souls. How could it not.

WE HAVE GOT TO COME TOGETHER to work our way through the times ahead – which by many accounts could be bad. If we could end the many battles being waged where ever you look and reverse the long standing willingness of humanity to apply and accept blind avenues of distortions, spin and lies, then we will find ourselves on the same page and with the same agenda. As many of you know, I made my last public presentation six years ago in San Francisco, where I had the honor of being awarded the Maverick Award for my research of the crop circle subject and just the day before, a personal letter of congratulations for the research by United States Congresswoman, Rosa DeLauro.

Since that time, I have continued research out of the public eye and have widened the scope of the research considerably with Synthia my wife, into Human Consciousness and the 2012 Mayan Prophecy.

The crop circle subject is every bit as important today as I believed it was back in 2000 when I announced on B.B.C. television as few as approximately 20% of the crop circles discovered in England during a two year study period (1999-2000), were not explained away by people making them. Here is why I know the subject is so important to the period we are living in:

The most important question to be posed in the research of crop circles is WHY
are they made? Not by whom, if man-made or not, although that is also important.

The basic fact is that plants are bent into geometries and for those who have been
attracted to researching them as well as making them, unexpected and totally
illogical connections with the human mind are experienced. And so from a simple
question to a second much more important one: How is human consciousness
being effected or even interacted with by such basic creations or their planners?

There is a plan afoot and we are all part of it. Dare I say, those who are active in making formations in the fields this year, are more deeply connected to world events than they might think. There is a great deal for us to debate.

I don’t have all the answers to this enigma but I have learned some things which I want to share with those in the field.

In December last year, my wife Synthia and I were asked to write a book on the 2012 period and the Mayan Prophecy, by Alpha Books. We believe, as does Alpha Books that this book, in the famous Complete Idiots Guide series, is an important educational book on growing concerns by many people that this prophecy and this period could be different to those that came and went before. Today the publishers authorized a very relevant chapter to be released ahead of the scheduled publication date in October, which will explain part of this answer. Hi all,

The circle formation was very interesting...Rachel has the exact measurements (I need to get them off her) but it is near hydro towers and only a few miles from Lake Huron...it's five circles, small to larger, clockwise swirl with nice centers but they are 'off center' as often seen, with pathways...first sighting may have been 10pm Thursday night...there was a massive storm around midnight that night..power went out etc.

I think it is more aptly named the Clinton crop circle as it is much closer to the town of Clinton (actually the village of Holmesville but that is so small I'm not sure anyone could find it). Apparently Clinton was the first radar training station in North America and a large 'radar' sits in town square with a plaque etc. commemorating this.

The owners don't mind visitors. Here are the directions if any of you can make it up...however, I think it'll get a lot visitors, especially since it will be in the local paper early next week.

It's about 6km out of Clinton going toward Goderich. Turn left into a village called Holmesville and take the Cutline Road towards Hwy 21...you will pass an elementary school and the farm is the first one past the 1st side road (Parr Line?) on the right. It's a long white house with a large red dairy barn...36966 Cutline Road. The circles are on the same road in the wheat field directly behind the house, before the big tower hydro lines.

Apparently there was a report of another crop circle north of Clinton but I wasn't able to find anything..no more info on that, sorry. It may have been just lodging.

Strange rock raises questions

A strange rock with unusual magnetic properties - deeply scored, with what appears to be moon phases, a solar eclipse and the depiction of a supernova -- has been unearthed on the outskirts of Roswell. Its discovery has startled researchers, scientists and all who have examined it.

If proven to be of extraterrestrial origin, it will mark the second time in less than a century that the Roswell area has received communications from outer space.

Roswell Mayor Sam D. LaGrone, who actually saw and touched the rock over the weekend, said, "It is a very strange looking rock.... I touched it, I felt it, and I just don't see how it could have been produced."

The rock, he said, adds another element to "the strangeness of Roswell," 61 years after the purported 1947 UFO crash and alleged cover-up by military authorities.

The deep wine-red colored rock, measuring less than two inches across, and weighing about 40 grams, was unearthed in September 2004 by Roswell businessman Robert Ridge, 50 , who said he found it while deer hunting in Cedar Hill, 17 miles "as the crow flies" from the 1947 purported UFO crash site.

"I saw some fresh tracks and followed them," he said. "That's when I noticed the partially exposed rock on the side of a sand pit. But I didn't pick it up at first because I thought there were deer up ahead, and didn't want to break off the pursuit."

When he realized the tracks were just goat tracks, he headed back the way he came, picked up the rock, and put it in his pocket, he said.

After showing the rock to family and friends, he decided to keep it in a safe deposit box until last year, when curiosity to discover the truth about it got the better of him.

"In July 2007, I was introduced to UFO investigators Chuck Zukowski and Debbie Ziegelmeyer, and they were astounded at what they saw," he said.

Zulkowski said the investigators where so impressed, they presented the rock to a number of experts, including prominent New Mexico anthropologists, "all of whom claimed they had never seen anything like it."

"They said there is no way this rock could have been scored or drilled in the way it was, without sophisticated modern equipment, like lasers and high speed water-fed grinders and drills," Zukowski said.

The artifact's image appears to be literally "pulled" from the surface of the red iron ore rock.

Apart from its strange appearance, Zukowski said, the rock has "peculiar" magnetic properties.

"It retains its magnetic polarity by which it will spin a compass needle and register its magnetic field on meters," he said. The oval rock will also spin, depending on the position of a magnet over the image surface, he added.

Zukowski and Ziegelmeyer said that archeologists requested that the rock be submitted for further laboratory analysis, in what they describe as phase two of their investigation.

One anthropologist reportedly described the rock as being similar to a "lodestone."

Lodestones have been mentioned in literature for centuries as having magical and mystical properties. There are ancient accounts of people reporting that when holding lodestones, their hands and body shook, and that the stones cured a wide range of illnesses, including snake bites and headaches.

Native Americans reportedly used lodestones as protection against snakes.

Meanwhile, investigators claim the artifact mirrors crop circles that appeared in Liddleton, England, in 1996, indicating a possibility the stone bears a message from space.

Priscilla Wolf, of Tijeras, a native American woman known to have "powers," visited the site were the rock was found last weekend, and said she felt a vibration in her hands when she held the rock, and that "light came down from the skies" when the rock was deposited at the site.

Although the rock was found partially exposed on the surface, Zukowski said, the sandy area in which it was found is known to erode and shift, possibly uncovering the rock.

"It appeared to have been buried at one time," said Ridge, who believes the rock represents more than just an interesting object.

"After I had it a few months, I began to think about it and began to think that it may be a beacon of some kind, or a message," he said.

"And I believe the message is that if we don't learn to get along with each other, we will be destroyed," he said.

The Crop Circle at Liddington Castle, England – 1996

Colin Andrews received a telephone call from farmer Bill Whatley at Folly farm, on the morning of 2nd August, 1996 to say that he had discovered a strange design in his wheat field, below the ancient hill fort called Liddington Castle, near the village of Chiseldon in the county of Wiltshire, England. Colin immediately drove to the site to meet Mr. Whatley and carry out research. He was greeted by the farmer who had just met a woman, Lucy Tuck who said she had witnessed an orange light high up above his field at 10.30 pm that night. After taking notes, Andrews began to gather ground data from the design but it soon became apparent that the field was not just host to this impressive pattern but two (See below). Approximately 350 feet away was a highly complex array of circles that had the appearance of a fractal design (Andrews Catalogue #457 - Andrews File Ref:1996-053).

Following the discovery of the Roswell stone, the Andrews aerial photograph was sent to his friend and colleague, Dr. Jean-Noel Aubrun for analysis (Author of numerous N.A.S.A. papers). His findings showed that the crop design and the Roswell stone design matched exactly ! (at least within the normal distortions introduced by photography). See Dr. Aubrun’s findings below:

Something arrived just recently in the fields reminiscent of those times when the crop circles were treated as a phenomenon. It comes from the time period when the idea that some of the circles could be replicated by people had to be taken into account. Here is the photo of the arrival:

Now let's call upon the people who contributed to the investigation of the phenomenon in its early stages and let's listen in . . .

You are the first one to point out that the field has been densely planted, yet the photo shows no access path leading to one of the circles that make up the triplet. This is one of the indicators that it was the mysterious force that created this formation.

Pat Delgado agrees and again wonders about the nature of the force capable of laying out what appears to be a fairly precise equilateral triangle. He takes out color markers, draws the central points and the three sides of a triangle.

The drawing confirms that the circle points are indeed the vertices of a very precise equilateral triangle.
All of a sudden, out of nowhere, a voice is heard: "Pat, if you drew a geometric figure, you should define the vertices."

The spirit of Gerald Hawkins has joined the group.

Pat Delgado, who doesn't appear nonplussed by the presence of the voice, does as Gerald Hawkins suggested.

And so the group of people is looking at the formation when Busty Taylor intrigued by the general purpose of the appearance of the crop circles wonders aloud whether this equilateral triangle somewhat relates to the Wessex Triangle.

That was a hard question to answer. The triplet didn't contain any apparent clue, but then the voice offered a suggestion: "Redefine the vertices to see if it is the case or not."

Pat Delgado erased the ABC letters, reached for a marker, but realized that there are many options how to redefine the vertices and looked at you for a clue. You were thinking for a moment and then you said, "Equilateral triangle comprises three sides of identical length, and the most apparent identity that relates to the Wessex Triangle was the time coincidence: the time the alarms kept going off was identical to the time I left the site at Childrey. The vertices should create a time-related coincidence."

Your suggestion made plenty of sense, but it wasn't clear to anyone how to use it to come up with the new defining letters.

All of sudden to everyone astonishment, one of the markers on the table began to levitate. It moved toward the picture, positioned itself and redefined the vertices.

Upon seeing triangle USA, everyone was puzzled by it: The Wessex Triangle was found in England, not in the USA! Normally, all the eyes would turn toward Gerald Hawkins for an explanation, but he joined the group as an invisible energy. Then, Busty Taylor pointed toward a laptop computer which turned itself on. Everyone watched the rebooting. The screen flickered three times and a collage adjusted Crop Circle Connector webpage appeared.

Seeing it, everyone said the same word in unison: "DUH."

It was Busty Taylor who was the first to notice a coincidence. He took a piece of paper and wrote something on it. Then he showed the paper to everyone with a question:

4 + USA = 7

Are your American friends aware of this coincidence?

Everyone was quick to understand what Busty meant. The acronym USA is a collection of three letters, and since USA = 3, then 4+3=7 and 4+USA=7 are two identical expressions!

"Why don't you ask the invisible American, Busty?" said the voice.

The spirit of Gerald Hawkins admitted that he wasn't aware of this simple, funny coincidence. Then the voice added: "I think that the July 4, 2008 formation at Stanton Bridge is the real article. When I lived, the circles showed me a few simple arrangements that I wasn't aware of. Now when I'm dead the history repeats itself."

Everyone turned to a person who never spoke a word the whole time, and you said, "Dr. Meaden, this atmospheric vortex is packing unexpected amount of IQ."

Terrence Meaden appeared thoughtful for a moment and then he nodded in agreement. "Yes, it appears to be so, and I think that I squeeze a Nobel Prize out of it," he proudly announced.

Here is the "technical part" that I didn't mention above: the difference between 'x' and 'X' variable. The lover-case 'x' is used with numbers the way that's familiar to us:

4 + x = 7

The trivial equation has solution x = 3.
Now the 'x' passes its numerical value on 'X', which is used with words or acronyms. So when you see equation

4 + X = 7

the upper-case X variable stands for a word or acronym that has 3 letters. The solution is circumstantial. If you interpret 4 and 7 as a day and a month respectively, then you solve 'X' with respect to 4 July. It means that a Yan... I mean an American (lol) have a better chance to solve the equation through an association than a Bulgarian, for example. There is a similar example that has showed up in the fields. That one was based on your 1999-2000 study.

Well, that was fun . . . I used your real experience with voices or electronic equipment turning itself on (Isabelle Kingston's TV, as described in your first book, ‘Circular Evidence’) to go back to the "simple" times in my attempt to translate the message from the circle makers to you. I’ve read everything and watched everything on the subject since the early 80s along with you and I'm really positive that it was the case Colin.

According to what we were able to translate from the site and estimate from the images, the formation's diameter must range between something like 150 and up to 200 meters (450-600 ft) in diameter.

IT'S AN extra-terrestrial mystery worthy of an X-Files investigation.

A Melbourne filmmaker is calling on Monash residents to come forward and unlock the secrets surrounding a UFO sighting in Clayton South 42 years ago.

More than 100 people, mostly former Westall High School (now Westall Secondary College) students who witnessed the unidentified "flying saucer" objects from their playground on April 6, 1966, have already spoken out about what they saw.

Documentary director Rosie Jones said she was now searching for any photographic or video evidence of the flying objects and crop circles, which reportedly appeared in the Grange, an area that once bordered the school grounds.

Former students Joy Clarke and Sue Savage are both involved in the documentary and have vivid memories of that bright, autumn day.

"I was in science class and I remember a student came running in and said, 'Mr Greenwood, there's flying saucers near the oval'," Ms Clarke said.

"The sky was perfectly clear and I remember standing there and thinking, 'what am I seeing?'."

The women both recall three objects, one bigger than the others, hovering and flying above the school and the Grange for about 15 minutes before they were "chased" by light aircraft.

Ms Savage said "military-type" men in uniforms showed up.

They ordered the students and teachers back inside and to "keep quiet" about what they saw.

NASA's own watchdog: Agency misled on global warming

NASA's press office "marginalized or mischaracterized" studies on global warming between 2004 and 2006, the agency's own internal watchdog concluded.

In a report released Monday, NASA's inspector general office called it "inappropriate political interference" by political appointees in the press office. It said that the agency's top management wasn't part of the censorship, nor were career officials.

NASA downplayed the report as old news on a problem that has since been fixed. NASA spokesman Michael Cabbage said the space agency's new policies have now been hailed for openness by the U.S. Government Accountability Office.

The report found credence in allegations that National Public Radio was denied access to top global warming scientist James Hansen. It also found evidence that NASA headquarters press officials canceled a press conference on a mission monitoring ozone pollution and global warming because it was too close to the 2004 presidential election.

In addition, the report detailed more than a dozen other actions in which it said the NASA public affairs office unilaterally edited or downgraded press releases having to do with global warming or denied access to scientists.

NASA public affairs officials criticized by the report called it wrong, saying they were always open and truthful.

Not so, according to the report. The report did not directly accuse them of lying, but used more nuanced terms such as "mendacity" and "dissembling." The space agency complained those terms were unjust.

The report concluded that "inappropriate political posturing or advantage" was behind some of these actions.

NASA and the Bush administration instantly drew criticism as a result of the report.

"Our government's response to global warming must be based on science, and the Bush administration's manipulation of that information violates the public trust," said Sen. Frank R. Lautenberg, D-N.J.

Mark Bowen, who wrote a book on NASA and Hansen, faulted the report's finding that NASA administrator Michael Griffin and the White House weren't involved in manipulation.

"So many honest people inside NASA and out have demonstrated censorship has occurred," Bowen said.

In its response, NASA's legal office noted that the report showed that actual research on global warming was not interfered with, and that neither NASA senior management nor other senior administration officials were involved.

"The legitimate conclusions ... are those that NASA has already acknowledged and has long since fixed," deputy counsel Keith Sefton wrote in response.

NASA's former press secretary, Dean Acosta, who was accused of telling underlings that there were "too many" global warming news releases, denied manipulations.

"My entire career has been dedicated to open and honest communications," said Acosta, now a spokesman for aerospace giant Boeing Co. "The inspector general's assertions are patently false."

NASA's overall head of public affairs, David Mould, who was also criticized, said the report "got a number of things wrong... I didn't see things that were politically influenced." But Mould also pointed to changes in policy he made after the allegations first came out in 2006, saying "I'm proud of the improvements we made."

First crop circles of the year

With the arrival of spring comes the first crop circles of the year, in the shadow of the 19th-century white horse carving at Milk Hill near Alton Barnes.

Formed in the bright yellow oil-seed rape, the crop formations are a familiar sight for Wiltshire residents.

But the crop pattern phenomenon has sparked heated debates around the world over how exactly they are formed.

Some believe they are created from a microwave effect, in which the field is bombarded with hundreds of thousands of volts of electricity from the ionosphere. This softens and bends the hollow oil seed rape stems.

Crop pattern hunter and expert Lucy Pringle photographed another pattern at Avebury, close to Silbury Hill.

She also took pictures of another pattern near Stonehenge. She said: "This is the first batch of crop patterns this year, and I think they're lovely."

Ms Pringle has been involved in long-running research into the effects of electromagnetic fields on living systems in crop circles and boasts the UK's most comprehensive crop circle photographic library.

On Monday, April 21, 2008, odd red lights appeared in the sky over Phoenix, Arizona. Video and photos were taken and Air Traffic Controllers in the main tower at Sky Harbor International Airport saw them. The FFA says that the lights did not appear on radar and weren't a threat to any air traffic, so no action was taken. However, the FAA has issued a statement saying that they will not allow the Air Traffic Controllers to talk about what they saw. -more-

The most disturbing aspect of the 2012 Mayan Prophecy, concerns the impact of the effects of sunspots on the Earth during the Solar cycle 24 peak. Bats Perish, and No One Knows Why

Al Hicks was standing outside an old mine in the Adirondacks, the largest bat hibernaculum, or winter resting place, in New York State.
It was broad daylight in the middle of winter, and bats flew out of the mine about one a minute. Some had fallen to the ground where they flailed around on the snow like tiny wind-broken umbrellas, using the thumbs at the top joint of their wings to gain their balance.
All would be dead by nightfall. Mr. Hicks, a mammal specialist with the state’s Environmental Conservation Department, said: “Bats don’t fly in the daytime, and bats don’t fly in the winter. Every bat you see out here is a ‘dead bat flying,’ so to speak.”
They have plenty of company. In what is one of the worst calamities to hit bat populations in the United States, on average 90 percent of the hibernating bats in four caves and mines in New York have died since last winter.
Wildlife biologists fear a significant die-off in about 15 caves and mines in New York, as well as at sites in Massachusetts and Vermont. Whatever is killing the bats leaves them unusually thin and, in some cases, dotted with a white fungus. Bat experts fear that what they call White Nose Syndrome may spell doom for several species that keep insect pests under control.
Researchers have yet to determine whether the bats are being killed by a virus, bacteria, toxin, environmental hazard, metabolic disorder or fungus. Some have been found with pneumonia, but that and the fungus are believed to be secondary symptoms.
“This is probably one of the strangest and most puzzling problems we have had with bats,” said Paul Cryan, a bat ecologist with the United States Geological Survey. “It’s really startling that we’ve not come up with a smoking gun yet.”
Merlin Tuttle, the president of Bat Conservation International, an education and research group in Austin, Tex., said: “So far as we can tell at this point, this may be the most serious threat to North American bats we’ve experienced in recorded history. “It definitely warrants immediate and careful attention.”
This month, Mr. Hicks took a team from the Environmental Conservation Department into the hibernaculum that has sheltered 200,000 bats in past years, mostly little brown bats (Myotis lucifugus) and federally endangered Indiana bats (Myotis sodalis), with the world’s second largest concentration of small-footed bats (Myotis leibii).
He asked that the mine location not be published, for fear that visitors could spread the syndrome or harm the bats or themselves.
Other visitors do not need directions. The day before, Mr. Hicks saw eight hawks circling the parking lot of another mine, waiting to kill and eat the bats that flew out.
In a dank galley of the mine, Mr. Hicks asked everyone to count how many out of 100 bats had white noses. About half the bats in one galley did. They would be dead by April, he said.
Mr. Hicks, who was the first person to begin studying the deaths, said more than 10 laboratories were trying to solve the mystery.
In January 2007, a cave explorer reported an unusual number of bats flying near the entrance of a cavern near Albany. In March and April, thousands of dead bats were found in three other mines and caves. In one case, half the dead or living bats had the fungus.
One cave had 15,584 bats in 2005, 6,735 in 2007 and an estimated 1,500 this winter. Another went from 1,329 bats in 2006 to 38 this winter. Some biologists fear that 250,000 bats could die this year.
Since September, when hibernation began, dead or dying bats have been found at 15 sites in New York. Most of them had been visited by people who had been at the original four sites last winter, leading researchers to suspect that humans could transmit the problem.
Details on the problem in neighboring states are sketchier. “In the Berkshires in Massachusetts, we are getting reports of dying/dead bats in areas where we do not have known bat hibernacula, so we may have more sites than we will ever be able to identify,” said Susi von Oettingen, an endangered species biologist with the United States Fish and Wildlife Service.
In Vermont, Scott Darling, a wildlife biologist with the Fish and Wildlife Department, said: “The last tally that I have is approximately 20 sites in New York, 4 in Vermont and 2 in Massachusetts. We only have estimates of the numbers of bats in the affected sites — more or less 500,000. It is impossible for us to count the dead bats, as many have flown away from the caves and died — we have over 90 reports from citizens across Vermont — as well as many are still dying.”
People are not believed to be susceptible to the affliction. But New Jersey, New York and Vermont have advised everyone to stay out of all caverns that might have bats. Visitors to affected caves and mines are asked to decontaminate all clothing, boots, ropes and other gear, as well as the car trunks that transport them.
One affected mine is the winter home to a third of the Indiana bats between Virginia and Maine. These pink-nosed bats, two inches long and weighing a quarter-ounce, are particularly social and cluster together as tightly as 300 a square foot.
“It’s ironic, until last year most of my time was spent trying to delist it,” or take it off the endangered species list, Mr. Hicks said, after the state’s Indiana bat population grew, to 52,000 from 1,500 in the 1960s.
“It’s very scary and a little overwhelming from a biologist’s perspective,” Ms. von Oettingen said. “If we can’t contain it, we’re going to see extinctions of listed species, and some of species that are not even listed.”
Neighbors of mines and caves in the region have notified state wildlife officials of many affected sites when they have noticed bats dead in the snow, latched onto houses or even flying in a recent snowstorm.
Biologists are concerned that if the bats are being killed by something contagious either in the caves or elsewhere, it could spread rapidly, because bats can migrate hundreds of miles in any direction to their summer homes, known as maternity roosts. At those sites, females usually give birth to one pup a year, an added challenge for dropping populations.
Nursing females can eat up to half their weight in insects a day, Mr. Hicks said.
Researchers from institutions like the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the United States Geological Survey’s National Wildlife Health Center, Boston University, the New York State Health Department and even Disney’s Animal World are addressing the problem. Some are considering trying to feed underweight wild bats to help them survive the remaining weeks before spring. Some are putting temperature sensors on bats to monitor how often they wake up, and others are making thermal images of hibernating bats.
Other researchers want to know whether recently introduced pesticides, including those released to stop West Nile virus, may be contributing to the problem, either through a toxin or by greatly reducing the bat’s food source.
Dr. Thomas H. Kunz, a biology professor at Boston University, said the body composition of the bats would also be studied, partly to determine the ratio of white to brown fat. Of particular interest is the brown fat between the shoulder blades, known to assist the bats in warming up when they begin to leave deep hibernation in April.
“It appears the white nose bats do not have enough fat, either brown or white, to arouse,” Dr. Kunz said. “They’re dying in situ and do not have the ability to arouse from their deep torpor.”
His researchers’ cameras have shown that bats in the caves that do wake up when disturbed take hours longer to do so, as was the case in the Adirondack mine. He also notes that if females become too emaciated, they will not have the hormonal reactions necessary to ovulate and reproduce.
In searching for a cause of the syndrome, researchers are hampered by the lack of baseline knowledge about habits like how much bats should weigh in the fall, where they hibernate and even how many bats live in the region.
“We’re going to learn an awful lot about bats in a comprehensive way that very few animal species have been looked at,” said Dr. Elizabeth Buckles, an assistant professor at Cornell who coordinates bat research efforts. “That’s good. But it’s unfortunate it has to be under these circumstances.”
The die-offs are big enough that they may have economic effects. A study of Brazilian free-tailed bats in southwestern Texas found that their presence saved cotton farmers a sixth to an eighth of the cash value of their crops by consuming insect pests.
“Logic dictates when you are potentially losing as many as a half a million bats in this region, there are going to be ramifications for insect abundance in the coming summer,” Mr. Darling, the Vermont wildlife biologist, said.
As Mr. Hicks traveled deeper in the cave, the concentrations of bats hanging from the ceiling increased. They hung like fruit, generally so still that they appeared dead. In some tightly packed groups, just individual noses or elbows peeked through. A few bats had a wing around their nearest cavemates. Their white bellies mostly faced downhill. When they awoke, they made high squeaks, like someone sucking a tooth.
The mine floors were not covered with carcasses, Mr. Hicks said, because raccoons come in and feed on them. Raccoon scat dotted the rocks along the trail left by their footprints.
In the six hours in the cave taking samples, nose counts and photographs, Mr. Hicks said that for him trying for the perfect picture was a form of therapy. “It’s just that I know I’m never going to see these guys again,” he said. “We’re the last to see this concentration of bats in our lifetime.”

When you know you are in sync with where you should be in your life’s work, or some might say in someone else’s plan, you can experience an uncanny phenomenon. An unknown helping hand arrives on the scene and takes you from one stepping stone to the other, taking you from A-Z without you having to look to see where your feet are.

Synthia (my wife) and I have experienced this in a quite uncanny and unbelievable fashion writing a new book called ‘The Complete Idiots Guide – to the 2012 Mayan Prophecy’.

The whole story is a long one, showing that even before we met, our work was already preparing us for this time, this book. We did not even ask to write this book, our agent came out of the wood work at Christmas and asked if we were interested to write it for the Idiots series for Alpha Books.

We agreed, contracts were signed and a book began to take shape at unbelievable pace. Orders were being placed before we had even half written it. We were given a schedule and deadline, which to any sane person, was not acceptable or achievable – then the ‘extra helping hand phenomenon’ kicked in.

From day one, both of us, researching and writing have been handed the required materials from around the globe, to allow the very best book of its kind to be written and to do credit to the period we are now entering. We would comment to each other about required material or certain prophetic statements one or another elder had made, and that we needed confirmation of accuracy or permission to publish. Perhaps queering a global warming fact we need from NASA or some other professional institution, only to find it pop right out of the computer monitor from a colleague or other mysterious source, we had not even heard of before. We obviously have not relied upon this additional ‘helping hand’ but having it has been very beneficial many times. Its gone on like this throughout the winter on this important project. We have been writing non-stop, since January 1st because the publishers want the book on the shelves in the USA, Canada and the United Kingdom in May.

Today the ‘Helpers’ came through again as we began our last chapter which is
“What will the future look like, beyond 2012.”

I opened my computer a few minutes ago, today being March 20th and the first email of the day arrived:

It was headed: “Is this to be our future – will it be us next? “ . The attachment related to one alarming trend around the world, massive insect die off.

Synthia and I have first hand experience of this, on our own small farm here in rural Connecticut. We have two bee hives, last year we lost one hive of about 20,000 beautiful hard working bees. Today we have witnessed 40,000 hard working bees, now from both hives, scattered dead across the snow outside. Its heart breaking and scary also.

I am sadly reminded of words I read a few years ago by an old native American: "When you rise in the morning and cant hear the birds singing, watch the butterflies dancing across the meadows from one flower to another or watch the deer feeding on the edge of the woods, or smell the spring air and listen to the crisp clear water flowing down the hillside nearby. You will come to realize that it was what you took for granted that made your life feel wholesome and so complete. It will be then that it will hit you what being alone really means". A future truly alone, is no future at all”.

What a price we have now to pay for a few short years of blind disrespect for others around us. Was the party worth it? We cant even use that popular term now and feel the sense of security it 'gave' us: i.e., “ Ah well, life goes on”.

As Barack Obama has so truthfully stated in recent weeks and coming so clearly from his heart, regards this status quo in our world: "No, not this time, not this time". We have no choice, but to give change a chance. Our planet is on its knees and much of it is leaving. THINK TODAY AND ACT TOMORROW.

MYSTERY still surrounds an air crash from which crop circle maker Matthew Williams walked unscathed.

Mr Williams, 36, from Bourton Lane, Bishops Cannings, was flying his 1987 Pegasus microlight towards its landing strip near Melksham in October last year when the single engine inexplicably stopped.

Mr Williams said: "A microlight is essentially a glider with an engine so learning to fly it without an engine is all part of the training.

"I knew I would not reach the landing strip, so I looked out for a nice flat field in which to make an emergency landing.

"It turned out to be a bit steeper than I anticipated and I'm afraid I was unable to avoid the fence at the end.

"I had a passenger with me and he commented that I was quite calm about the whole thing. Apparently I said to him, sorry, I don't think we're going to miss that fence.

"And sure enough, we didn't."

Air accident investigators have been unable to find any reason why the engine of the tiny aircraft stopped.

An Air Accident Investigation Branch report published last week said that Mr Williams, who had over 100 hours' flying experience, was on a local flight from a farm strip when he encountered light rain.

It continues: "The pilot decided to return to the airfield and, in order to save time, planned to join the circuit on base leg.

"However, whilst maintaining 500ft above ground level and a typical cruise power setting of 5,000rpm, the engine cut out without warning.

"A number of fields appeared to be suitable for a forced landing and the pilot chose what he thought was the best one. The landing was slightly deep, as a result of having to avoid trees on short finals.

"Having touched down, it became apparent that the field had a downhill gradient which had not been obvious from the air. The slope, combined with the damp conditions, made it impossible for the pilot to stop the aircraft before reaching a ditch and fence on the field boundary.

"The nosewheel fell into the ditch, causing the aircraft to flip over and come to rest on the fence in an inverted attitude. Neither occupant was injured, although the aircraft sustained major damage."

The report says that an investigation by experts after the accident failed to reveal any reason for the engine failure. It had not seized and the ignition system was found to be serviceable.

Mr Williams, a self-employed web page designer, says the experience has not put him off flying and he has replaced the £2,500 aircraft, which was insured.

He said: "I was on the point of gaining my pilot's licence for larger aircraft when I lived in Wales, so when I moved here I completed my training and got my licence for microlights."

Mr Williams is probably best known as the only person in the UK to be successfully prosecuted for making crop circles.

He has since made a name for himself creating crop circles for TV companies and commercial firms and created one on the occasion of the Gazette and Herald moving to compact format.

Environmental activists might wonder what in the world do UFOs have to do with massive global environmental degradation in general and global warming in particular. Many of us in the UFO/ET community are beginning to make that connection and as that knowledge spreads beyond the UFO community environmental activist leaders will begin to grasp the connection.

The fact is that environmentalists are well behind the learning curve as compared to world peace activists. We in exopolitics now realize that there have been two major national and global entrenched interests that stand out in suppressing extraterrestrial realities. One is the fossil fuels industry and the other is the arms industry. We now realize that in the 1950s if ET reality had become public knowledge both these industries would have been devastated just as had the gas light industry when the electric light bulb came into widespread use.

These industries as well as other special interest came in early to suppress extraterrestrial knowledge out of self interest once the military and the intelligence community understood the situation. This has resulted in a 60 year old cover up and propaganda campaign of denial and ridicule that has brainwashed world populations placing them in denial of extraterrestrial realities.

Many who have had sightings dismiss them and refuse to believe their lying eyes. Anybody who doubts this or that national security issues have and are being used as a cover in order to suppress UFO/ET reality really ought to read at least one good book on the subject like, UFOs and The National Security State, by Richard Dolan. Nobody wants to believe that they have been brainwashed but it’s the sad truth that most of the public has been so victimized.

One of the first questions that the brainwashed public and environmentalists are going to ask is so what if UFOs are real and aliens exist, I don’t see how it’s affecting me, our society and especially the environment? To ask such a question in the first place is a sad commentary on the present dire situation of widespread global warming and degradation due to the widespread use of fossil fuels. While world peace activists are beginning to realize that world peace would destroy much of the arms industry the environmental activists still have their collective heads in the sand.

The truth is that the way the ET spaceships are powered with almost unlimited cheap power can be used to drive our civilization with little environmental effects. The oil industry relies on scarcity to control the price of oil and make trillions of dollars at public expense but all that would have been wiped out with cheap abundant energy. Also we would not have global warming and other environmental degradation that so threaten us and our planet if cheap non polluting energy had come into widespread use by the 1960s as it should have.

The other environmental factor is the way UFOs or flying saucers move both through the atmosphere and through space using electromagnetic and anti-gravity propulsion. Environmental activists if they think this through will realize that all the environmental degradation from car pollution, highways, bridges, power lines etc. would not have happened if our personal vehicles used electromagnetic and anti-gravity systems. Environmentalists should team up with exopolitical activists and peace activists and other activists even in the health industry because an end to the UFO/ET cover up would drastically and fundamentally change our world for the better. Environmentalists need to realize that all these things touted by industry like solar power, wind power, geothermal energy etc. to end global warming and other degradation just won’t do the job and will only strengthen the established interest control over energy and peoples lives.

Just these two factors, cheap abundant pollution free energy and anti-gravity technology out of many others I have yet to discuss, can transform our society quickly and profoundly. Environmentalists are well aware of how conventional technologies and some not so conventional technologies have been suppressed by the oil industry so maybe young bright minds can make the conceptual jump I am suggesting so that they can join and help us to end the UFO/ET cover up.

Climate change over the next 20 years could result in a global catastrophe costing millions of lives in wars and natural disasters..

A secret report, suppressed by US defence chiefs and obtained by The Observer, warns that major European cities will be sunk beneath rising seas as Britain is plunged into a 'Siberian' climate by 2020. Nuclear conflict, mega-droughts, famine and widespread rioting will erupt across the world.

The document predicts that abrupt climate change could bring the planet to the edge of anarchy as countries develop a nuclear threat to defend and secure dwindling food, water and energy supplies. The threat to global stability vastly eclipses that of terrorism, say the few experts privy to its contents.

'Disruption and conflict will be endemic features of life,' concludes the Pentagon analysis. 'Once again, warfare would define human life.'

The findings will prove humiliating to the Bush administration, which has repeatedly denied that climate change even exists. Experts said that they will also make unsettling reading for a President who has insisted national defence is a priority.

The report was commissioned by influential Pentagon defence adviser Andrew Marshall, who has held considerable sway on US military thinking over the past three decades. He was the man behind a sweeping recent review aimed at transforming the American military under Defence Secretary Donald Rumsfeld.

Climate change 'should be elevated beyond a scientific debate to a US national security concern', say the authors, Peter Schwartz, CIA consultant and former head of planning at Royal Dutch/Shell Group, and Doug Randall of the California-based Global Business Network.

An imminent scenario of catastrophic climate change is 'plausible and would challenge United States national security in ways that should be considered immediately', they conclude. As early as next year widespread flooding by a rise in sea levels will create major upheaval for millions.

Last week the Bush administration came under heavy fire from a large body of respected scientists who claimed that it cherry-picked science to suit its policy agenda and suppressed studies that it did not like. Jeremy Symons, a former whistleblower at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), said that suppression of the report for four months was a further example of the White House trying to bury the threat of climate change.

Senior climatologists, however, believe that their verdicts could prove the catalyst in forcing Bush to accept climate change as a real and happening phenomenon. They also hope it will convince the United States to sign up to global treaties to reduce the rate of climatic change.

A group of eminent UK scientists recently visited the White House to voice their fears over global warming, part of an intensifying drive to get the US to treat the issue seriously. Sources have told The Observer that American officials appeared extremely sensitive about the issue when faced with complaints that America's public stance appeared increasingly out of touch.

One even alleged that the White House had written to complain about some of the comments attributed to Professor Sir David King, Tony Blair's chief scientific adviser, after he branded the President's position on the issue as indefensible.

Among those scientists present at the White House talks were Professor John Schellnhuber, former chief environmental adviser to the German government and head of the UK's leading group of climate scientists at the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research. He said that the Pentagon's internal fears should prove the 'tipping point' in persuading Bush to accept climatic change.

Sir John Houghton, former chief executive of the Meteorological Office - and the first senior figure to liken the threat of climate change to that of terrorism - said: 'If the Pentagon is sending out that sort of message, then this is an important document indeed.'

Bob Watson, chief scientist for the World Bank and former chair of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, added that the Pentagon's dire warnings could no longer be ignored.

'Can Bush ignore the Pentagon? It's going be hard to blow off this sort of document. Its hugely embarrassing. After all, Bush's single highest priority is national defence. The Pentagon is no wacko, liberal group, generally speaking it is conservative. If climate change is a threat to national security and the economy, then he has to act. There are two groups the Bush Administration tend to listen to, the oil lobby and the Pentagon,' added Watson.

'You've got a President who says global warming is a hoax, and across the Potomac river you've got a Pentagon preparing for climate wars. It's pretty scary when Bush starts to ignore his own government on this issue,' said Rob Gueterbock of Greenpeace.

Already, according to Randall and Schwartz, the planet is carrying a higher population than it can sustain. By 2020 'catastrophic' shortages of water and energy supply will become increasingly harder to overcome, plunging the planet into war. They warn that 8,200 years ago climatic conditions brought widespread crop failure, famine, disease and mass migration of populations that could soon be repeated.

Randall told The Observer that the potential ramifications of rapid climate change would create global chaos. 'This is depressing stuff,' he said. 'It is a national security threat that is unique because there is no enemy to point your guns at and we have no control over the threat.'

Randall added that it was already possibly too late to prevent a disaster happening. 'We don't know exactly where we are in the process. It could start tomorrow and we would not know for another five years,' he said.

'The consequences for some nations of the climate change are unbelievable. It seems obvious that cutting the use of fossil fuels would be worthwhile.'

So dramatic are the report's scenarios, Watson said, that they may prove vital in the US elections. Democratic frontrunner John Kerry is known to accept climate change as a real problem. Scientists disillusioned with Bush's stance are threatening to make sure Kerry uses the Pentagon report in his campaign.

The fact that Marshall is behind its scathing findings will aid Kerry's cause. Marshall, 82, is a Pentagon legend who heads a secretive think-tank dedicated to weighing risks to national security called the Office of Net Assessment. Dubbed 'Yoda' by Pentagon insiders who respect his vast experience, he is credited with being behind the Department of Defence's push on ballistic-missile defence.

Symons, who left the EPA in protest at political interference, said that the suppression of the report was a further instance of the White House trying to bury evidence of climate change. 'It is yet another example of why this government should stop burying its head in the sand on this issue.'

Symons said the Bush administration's close links to high-powered energy and oil companies was vital in understanding why climate change was received sceptically in the Oval Office. 'This administration is ignoring the evidence in order to placate a handful of large energy and oil companies,' he added.

My brothers and sisters,
Recently I had the great honor and privilege of attending a Sacred Mayan Ceremony led by Don Alejandro Cirilo Perez Oxlaj (Wandering Wolf), a thirteenth Generation Quiché Mayan Priest, who is also featured in an upcoming film "Shift of the Ages". I write to you all for two reasons, 1, to share my experience and 2, to ask for your help in getting the word out about the film and the importance of its message to all of humanity sharing our great mother earth.
The day happened to fall on my Mayan Birthday (5 Cauac ) which was on June 30th 2007. According to the Sacred Mayan Calendar, 5 Cauac is a day for family, friends, disciples, teachers, abundance, creation, integration, communications, teaching of truths, and the healing of body and mind. The day was already positive being that the same energies of that day were the ones at the time of my birth but even more so due to the purpose of the event which was to promote the up and coming film “Shift of the Ages” and to continue with his mission of communicating the prophecy of the Eagle and the Condor.
The day started with a gathering in a small conference room at a resort tucked away in a small California town of Ojai, home of the Native Chumash Indians. The room was crowded with mostly seniors but soon filled with a verity of colorful people, young and old trying to find a place to sit. In the front of the room is a projector screen and several wicker chairs with red cushions lined up to the right. Certainly this is where Don Alejandro was to sit. As we are waiting for something to get started, I notice the director of the film (Steve Copeland) standing in the far end of the room. I was aware that clips from the film were going to be presented but never though that the director was going to be presenting them! I thought to myself “Wow, What a treat! This day is getting better by the minute… or so I thought…..
The announcement is made that Don Alejandro has arrived and would be in shortly. Immediately everyone starts preparing themselves for his arrival as excitement fills their eyes. I have to admit I too was feeling the anticipation. Suddenly there is a shift from everyone having there own conversations to complete silence. He takes his first steps into the room. In comes a very humble looking human with dark skin wearing a woven red headdress, light blue shirt, and white pants with a colorful woven belt walking slowly, almost dragging his feet with every step. He is accompanied by his wife Elzabeth Araujo (who translates for Don Alejandro) and Rosa Maria (who seems to have been there solely to assist him) followed by the coordinator of the event. They all take a seat. All except the coordinator, who takes the microphone that stood in front of one of the chairs. She thanks everyone for being there and barely contains her emotions as she introduces Don Alejandro and his purpose for being there that day.
Steve Copeland then takes the mic. He talks about the importance of this film and gave us an update on their recent progress with the film. He introduces a few clips from the movie and we all watched. Even though the room was not the best conditions for the screening, you can see the gorgeous cinematography this movie has captured along with a score of the most beautifully enchanting music. Don Alejandro apparently had not seen some of the material so during the screening, he stood up from his chair and quietly sat himself on a pillow in front of the screen with his legs to one side.
After the screening, Don Alejandro was given the microphone and announced his message to the world
(click here for video on Google). The message was approximately 25 minutes long and spoke of the prophecy of the Eagle and the Condor. During this time the room had become hot and full of different smells from everyone in the room. Some started to get uncomfortable and their negative vibes happened to take influence. The speech ended and I began thinking to myself “ I spent $50 for both me and my wife and drove 300 miles for this?” This is nothing new or anything I had not known already. I was expecting to hear words from a wise elder to add to knowledge to what I have already researched for myself. Something new to add value to what I already know and have seen and experienced for myself to be true. That was not the case.
We leave the room and head down to a small grassy area near a man made waterfall/pond. The area had already been prepared earlier for the ceremony to take place. Arranged in a circle, at the center of the grass area was a small, portable metal fire pit. Next to the pit were several branches that were collected from around the area and two bags of Sugar. Across from the pit were 4 tall stick braches propped up by sticking the end into the grass, each about 5 feet tall with a feather and colored fabric tied to the top end. Each of them was placed at a cardinal point indicating North, South, East and West. A small, two foot wide shrine was surrounded by a boarder of green colored string on colored sticks again stuck in the ground. The North shrine was red with two skulls, a bear and what seemed like an ox or bull and an animal’s horn between them. The South was White with flowers at the base. The West, black and the East was yellow, both with flowers at the base. Everyone gathered along the stone cobbled ledge that was at the south end of the circle (also the only shady spot) and others that could not find a place sat on a hill just behind the West shrine.
Meanwhile, Don Alejandro is preparing the fire pit by piling up sticks “tee-pee” style inside the pit. Next he is seen pouring Sugar in the center of the pit. He asks if anyone has anything to offer the creator they may come forth and place it in the pit. He stressed that only that which is gifts of the earth should be placed in the pit. Fruit was put in by some, others placed bread and flowers. One attempted to place crystals but was rejected by Don Alejandro. As the ceremony was about to begin, he explains the ceremony and how to participate. He asked for those with cameras not to take photos while he is igniting the pit and that once the pit has fully ignited could we take photos.
I respected his wishes and did as he asked.
As he ignites the pit, he calls out to the great creator and asks for his attention. Everyone is asked to stand and face east. As we all face east, he shouts out to the god of the east. “Lak’in”, and goes on describing its attributes. We all kneel to give thanks the powers of the east. Next we face the West turning clockwise, ‘Chik’in” he shouts, and goes on describing its attributes. We kneel to give thanks the powers of the West. Next we turn and face North. “Xaman” he shouts, and goes on describing its gifts. We all kneel to give thanks the powers of the North. Finally we face South, “Nohol”, and kneeled once more.
After acknowledging the cardinal points Don Alejandro asked us to repeat each Quiché Mayan day in mantra form after he described the qualities of each day starting with Kawok (Cauac), which was the name of that day, and ending with Tijash (or Etznab as we know it). Each of the 20 days were chanted after their description and with that, the ceremony came to an end. Folks were told to come close to the fire and those with feathers could catch the spirits of our ancestors and cleanse their souls the usual “smoke over the body” method. Instead I sat there on the grass thinking and questioning my purpose for being there that day. I’ll admit I felt a feeling of disappointment that nothing I had heard that day was anything new to me. I guess I was looking to be enlightened by hearing the words of a respected Mayan High Priest and in participating in the ceremony yet felt I had learned nothing. But Why? Why am I here? There must be a reason, there is always a reason. I did feel the energy of everyone as one during the ceremony but again nothing new I have not experienced. I stopped for a minute to realize this emotion I was now feeling and started questioning it and looking for the root of the cause. It was at that moment that someone in the crowd let out a huge Indian cry that permeated through everyone. An energy that made you feel like pure light for a few seconds and left you with a short lived feeling of exhaustion. The woman standing just to the right of me held on to her companion with one hand and fanned her face with the other. Surely she felt the energy just as strong as I had. From that point on it dawned on me, the reason for my being there that day. It was so simple it was beautiful. I am 5 Cauac! This is my purpose in life. I was placed in the right place at the right time to confirm if you will, just that. I am 5 Cauac! I am on the right path! It was so beautiful!
Excited about my epiphany, I decided to walk up to Don Alejandro and thank him for the message he brought forth to the people there that day. As I approached him, he stood there humbly, a whole 5 feet tall looking down at his feet which were buried in the grass he was standing on. He looks up at me with a pondering look on his face. I extend my hand out to him and he accepts it with a soft ageing hand.
“Tata”, speaking in Spanish, “thank you so much for your words today…” Immediately he is taken by the fact I spoke in a tongue he understood. With a smile I continue, “I was born Ho Cauac and this day is very special for me”. “Where are you from?” he asked. “My parents are from Veracruz but I was born here in the states.” Without saying a word, he gives me a smile and politely looks away.
Even though he did not say a word I knew that he knew, I had found my purpose for being there that day. I am 5 Cauac!

Now for my service as 5 Cauac. After speaking with Don Alejandro I had the privilege of having a small conversation with the director of the film “Shift of the Ages”, Steve Copeland. We talked about film, the locations and different media and software used for the film. We spoke of how we were all living and experiencing the prophecy now, as we spoke and how important it was that people awake from the deep sleep we have all been placed under. The problem is that the film, even though it is close to near completion, has been placed on hold due to funding. They have exhausted all their means of funding and that these events were there last resort in attempts to raise donations to release the film. The donations that are made to attend the events unfortunately barely cover the expenses of having to fly Don Alejandro and his family to these events. This is why this film is so important that it get out to the masses so that everyone has a chance to hear the message.
My fellow Brothers and Sisters, please consider helping our sleeping Brothers and Sisters by allowing this film to reach their cities, towns and communities. So that they too can help awaken others and spread the message of One Love, One Earth, One Divine Plan, for we must leave the old ways behind if we are to ascend to the next level. Some of us have been watching with interest and concern, ever increasing numbers of people, sometimes whole families, who are discovering fiber like strands in their bodies. Its become widespread enough to be given a name, Morgellons Disease.

The strands or fibers are extremely small and need a magnifying glass to be seen under the surface of the skin. They come in a number of colors. Sometimes those effected by this stressful condition feel and see them move (wiggle) and get the impression that their bodies have been taken over. These people are in pain and have stressful irritation of the skin to deal with. Recent reports have shown the fibers have left the bodies and migrating into electrical equipment and cables, as if drawn by electromagnet energy fields.

Doctors who have seen these patience mostly dismiss them as ‘delusional’ or having an over active imagination, but the reports keep coming in from those with the condition. The sufferers still have the condition and the fibers are working their way throughout their bodies. They are afraid and are without the help they need or any explanation of what has caused this to happen. Most medical practitioners don’t even accept that it is a disease at all.

This is one of those cases, where the scientific and medical community has fallen well short of the mark. For people like myself, and many who will be reading this now, know that researching the mysterious or unknown, attracts strong feelings of the skeptics or those who feel threatened by something they cant explain. We are often accused of making extraordinary claims about things like UFO’s or strange Orbs etc, which are not supported by extraordinary evidence and yes, like these poor people, are often dismissed as delusional or New Age believers. Sounds kind of familiar don’t you think. When I hear what these poor people have gone through trying to get anyone interested in their infliction, let alone get proper help, I deeply sympathize and boil up with anger.

Ironic indeed, that yesterday it took C.B.S film crews to film these fibers and ask the tough questions of doctors and chemists who were present that C.D.C. agreed to begin an investigation. How kind of them!
The ‘C.B.S. Evening News’ filmed a patient having the Morgellions fibers being removed from the skin of a sufferer, while being overseen by doctors and chemists. The fibers were analyzed and found not to match ANY KNOWN MATERIAL ON EARTH. They could not even destroy these fibers with flaming blow torches. There is no other part of the human body you could do this with that would not simply vanish into vapors and smoke.

The findings: a) The material is unknown and b) Is indestructible. It sound more like a material being farmed for future human space exploration or a material from space than a human substance!

Is this the outcome of bio or nanotechnology gotten away from the laboratory or what happens when some people consume vegetables that have the genes from animals, spliced with the plant genes (half pig, half tomato for example) ? Is it the result of a changing environment and changing bodies or even insane chemical applications into our atmosphere? WE don’t know, perhaps someone out there does but now the C.D.C. has taken it under their wing, we might have gotten a little closer to learning. I get the sense that they have been afraid to get too close to this problem, for fear of what they will find. Well done C.B.S for having the guts to nail them down on air.

THEY SHOW UP EVERY SUMMER: spirals and interlocking rings, alchemical and shamanic symbols, massive mandalas and Mandelbrot sets, all cut into swaths of land — some as large as two football fields set side by side. These patterns, made from swirled wheat and flattened rapeseed, first appeared in the fields of southern England 30 years ago. Their mysterious origin caused a media frenzy until 1991, when two local farmers claimed responsibility for a few of the early formations. The press, satisfied that the whole thing was a hoax, decamped. But crop circles never went away. From the Netherlands to Japan to the farmlands of Canada and the Midwest, hundreds of new glyphs materialize every year — and they're growing in both size and complexity.

The spectacle has inspired a fresh crop of media attention. Signs, by Sixth Sense director M. Night Shyamalan, debuts August 2 starring Mel Gibson as a Pennsylvania farmer who discovers supernatural communications in his cornfields. Also coming in August is Crop Circles: Quest for Truth, a documentary by Emmy award-winning filmmaker William Gazecki. The film focuses on the robust New Age subculture of "croppies." In England, as many as 10,000 believers spend their summers tromping across the verdant hills of Wiltshire and Glastonbury prospecting for new formations. They include not only the expected druids, dowsers, and Deadheads but also more levelheaded types — engineers, astronomers, laser scientists, and biophysicists.

These croppies find a kind of scientific beauty and mystery in the phenomenon. Gerald Hawkins, former chair of the astronomy department at Boston University, thinks the artistry of the circles is based on mathematics. He has found hidden geometrical forms - pentagrams, hexagons, and other shapes — underlying the figures he's analyzed. Then there's Colin Andrews, an electrical engineer with a grant from billionaire UFOlogist Laurance Rockefeller, who claims to have found a change in Earth's magnetic field where the glyphs appear. Noting the recent increase in crop circles, Andrews says, "You begin to get the distinct impression that there is some kind of program running here." Andrews, when pressed, tells of dozens of strange events that have befallen him during his 18-year-long obsession: stopped clocks, inexplicable power surges, ruined film. But the wildest stories come from the cult croppie philosopher Michael Glickman, a former architect who has been chasing circles since the 1980s. "The circlemakers are using shape and number and form to access parts of our being that have become culturally deactivated," he says. Glickman's theory is that the signs point to some type of dimensional shift due to arrive in December 2012: "Part of the program is reactivation — that is separate from whatever hard information they might be bringing."

Glickman's "hard information" refers to a moment at the end of last summer's growing season when crop circles turned away from the abstract. On August 14, an enigmatic human face, expertly executed in halftones, turned up next to a huge radio transmitter in Chilbolton, England. A few days later, a glyph appeared that many croppies believe to be an alien response to a SETI radio transmission sent into space almost 30 years ago. Formed out of expertly twisted wheat, the pattern shows a strand of DNA made with silicon instead of phosphorous, a transmission device of unknown design, an alternate solar system, and an extraterrestrial with a wide head.

One thing is for sure: The formation proves beyond a doubt that the life-form responsible for it has a superevolved sense of humor. In the words of Seth Shostak, senior astronomer for the SETI Institute, it's "good fun and a nice example of grain graffiti" — but not worth taking seriously. "If aliens wanted to communicate with us, why would they use such a low-bandwidth method?" he asks. "Why not just leave an Encyclopedia Galactica on our doorstep?" He also notes that SETI's original signal was aimed at the star cluster M13, which means it will not reach its target for 24,972 more years. The institute, he says, "has no interest in investigating the phenomenon further."

In 1974, an encoded radio transmission was fired into deep space — the so-called Arecibo message. Its contents included the numerals 1 through 10, the atomic numbers of elements important to human life, a depiction of the physical structure of DNA, our solar system, a human figure, and the radio dish used to send the message. First some clarification: I wish to make it clear that my good friend Pat Delgado, who is the co-author of my first book in 1989, Circular Evidence‰ worked for N.A.S.A. DSN (Spacecraft Tracking) and was engaged in tracking the Mariner at the Woomera facility in Australia, as well as other spacecraft to the Moon and Venus. Its also often overlooked that while I have researched the crop circles since I first discovered some in 1983, Pat was already researching them then, in fact two years earlier in 1981. Pat dropped out of the research in 1991 but I resigned my full time job as Technical Support Services officer in Test Valley Borough Council (Regional Local Government) in Great Britain that same day and took the work on full time. I have continued to this day to travel the world in search of the full explanation to this phenomenon. The last four years away from the public eye.

In recent weeks, a person or persons have made threats to me, via a blog site and also personal email. They have warned that I should be arrested by British authorities or US for alleged fraud in misrepresenting myself. They have published over forty pages of allegations. The whole thing is spin and deliberate manipulation of the facts and also downright lies and liable. Fortunately I have many friends around the world who know the true facts, among them my former employers and officials in the British and US governments. There are some advantages to being very public, in so much as one is checked out so many times by so many networks and organizations.

Pat Delgado and I have been through this kind of nonsense before. As two well known researchers now know, making untrue libelous statements about us during 1989, was met with a solicitors notice to publicly withdraw them or be taken to court for liable. They chose the right course of action and published full apologies.

Regrettably being in the public eye these days, you have to expect these kinds of unjustified attacks. I have engaged an attorney in case legal action becomes necessary.

Meanwhile I will continue with my work with the crop circles, UFO‚s and human consciousness. Also I am fully engaged in the biggest concern of my life: Climate Change and the species effected by it (who ever or what ever is the cause).

Leading off the U.N. General Assembly's second day of talks on climate change, Tuvalu issued a cry for help Tuesday on dealing with the impact of global warming on its 10,000 people, who live on nine low-lying coral atolls in the South Pacific being lapped at by rising seas.

"Adaptation is undoubtedly a crucial issue for an extremely vulnerable small, island nation like Tuvalu," said Tavau Teii, the deputy prime minister and environment chief.

"I only need to highlight the fact that our highest point above sea level is only four meters (a little over 13 feet) to emphasize our vulnerability to the impacts of climate change, especially sea level rise," he said. "It is very clear that financial resources for adaptation are completely inadequate."

He was followed by speaker after speaker from small countries who rose to ask the richest nations to pony up tens of billions of dollars a year to help the littler guys adapt.

The United States and China, the two biggest producers of carbon dioxide and other heat-trapping gases from fossil-fuel burning, sought to assure other nations that they, too, take global warming seriously and will provide what help they can.

"We are committed to do our part to contribute to this global effort," said Alejandro Wolff, the deputy U.S. ambassador.

No less than 117 speakers, representing virtually all the world's nations, signed up to take the stage during talks that dragged into the evening. The glacial pace of their speechmaking belied their expressions of urgency and fear that global warming will test the world — and the U.N. — in ways never before seen.

"Climate change has the potential to redraw the face of our planet," said Dr. Janez Podobnik, Slovenia's environment minister who spoke for the European Union. The EU, he said, puts global warming "on the top of its political agenda."

The U.N. Development Program said in November that industrialized nations must provide $86 billion a year by 2015 to help the people most vulnerable to more catastrophic floods, droughts and other disasters that scientists fear will accompany warming.

"We are on the edge of a tipping point and time has run out," said Dr. Angus Friday, Grenada's ambassador to the U.N. who represented an alliance of small island states. "We have said again and again that this is a matter of survival for us."

"No island left behind," he added. "We cannot wait to adapt."

General Assembly President Srgjan Kerim, a Macedonian diplomat and economics professor, convened the two-day conference to shape U.N. policy and support its negotiations toward a new global climate treaty in 2012.

Delegates from nearly 190 nations agreed at a U.N. conference in December to adopt a blueprint for controlling "greenhouse" gases before the end of 2009. Their hope is to replace the Kyoto Protocol, which requires 37 industrial nations to cut emissions by 5 percent on average, when it expires in 2012.

On Monday, British billionaire Richard Branson offered to set up an "environmental war room" that would serve as a tool for the U.N. to lead the world's efforts to find technological fixes for global warming.

The truth may be out there, but, when it comes to UFO stories, it is sure hard to find. Conjecture breeds conspiracy theories. Any official denial can be labeled a cover-up. In the end, it often boils down to a he-said-she-said scenario.

Such is the case in Stephenville, Texas, a small, rural community thrust into the spotlight after several unexplained disturbances in January. Though that spotlight has now faded, the town remains altered. Some members of the community want to move on; others cannot let go. And some, if you believe them, say that UFOs are still there.

According to Angelia Joiner, the reporter who wrote the original UFO stories, there was another UFO sighting on Saturday. "If the military is testing a secret military device, why do they keep doing it here?" she asked me. "If it's not a secret why do they keep scaring the bejesus out of people?"

Adding a further wrinkle to this story, Joiner was fired from The Empire-Tribune a week ago. She claims she had been told to back off the story and thinks the town's "upper crust" was "embarrassed" by all the attention. The Empire-Tribune has avoided comment, which of course only fans the flames of the conspiracy theories.

For its part, the military has done itself no favors, first denying that it had any aircraft in the area, then flip-flopping a few days later -- after more witnesses came forward. A spokesperson blamed internal miscommunication for the mix-up. Others, including CNN's Larry King, have asked whether it wasn't a cover-up.

But who can we believe? The truth remains unidentified.

During 1996, I received a telephone call in my Connecticut office, from Laurence Rockefeller‚s offices in New York, asking if I would like to prepare a research proposal, which would in my view accelerate our understanding of the crop circle phenomenon. I drew up a series of research projects, which were submitted for discussion and consideration for personal funding by Mr. Laurence Rockefeller. During July I met with one of Mr. Rockefeller‚s advisors, who flew to England, where I was already at work with funds made available by Mr. Rockefeller. I will never forget that day in 1991, when I first watched BBC television and listened to the message given by the Kogi people in Columbia. A tribe who have been cut off from the outside world for centuries, having nothing to do with ŒLittle Brothers‚ and living on a mountain they call „The Heart of the World‰. Of coarse it is for them. They became so alarmed that the snow had stopped falling on the mountain top and waters they lived on that flowed down from that peak had stopped flowing. They declared that ŒLittle Brother‚ was responsible and must change his ways. I repeated that message during my many presentations around the world since that time and had the privilege, with my wife Synthia of meeting a delegation of the Kogi last year. The meeting was arranged by one of their intermediaries and helpers, Ellis Bradley (A friend of ours) during their first journey off the mountain when they made a presentation about their concerns at Georgetown University, Washington D.C.

The Kogi live everyday with nature as their guide, unlike them, most of us see the world in a different way but we can by now surely see that time is running out for us TO ADJUST AND PREPARE OURSELVES FOR ANOTHER TIME. Rather than view this time (2012) as the end of time, we should view it as the beginning of another cycle. It will be that but setting ourselves new rules, new behavior, new levels of understanding and respect and being different peoples is the key.

Nuclear Power Stations may have to be closed down in weeks.

South Carolina Electric and Gas Company have declared that the water levels set as a minimum for safe operation of nuclear power stations in the entire south east of the United States are getting close to those set by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. The all time record-breaking drought has caused rivers and dams that supply the billions of gallons needed to cool the reactor process, to drop to levels not seen before. If things don‚t improve in the next couple of months, the water could fall below the intake pipes altogether or the shallow water could become too heated by the sun, to use.

An Associated Press analysis of the United States 104 nuclear reactors found that 24 (one quarter of the entire network) are in the areas experiencing the most severe levels of drought. A spokesman for South Carolina Electric and Gas Company said that if the water levels get to a certain point we have to power them down or go off line‰. Some of these regions are looking for between 10 to 15 inches of rain between now and March to prevent a disaster, said Donna Lisenby, the executive director of Catawba Riverkeeper, environmental group.

To look at the concerning trend one needs to look no further than the brutal 2006 heat wave in Europe, when France, Spain and Germany were forced to shut down some of their nuclear reactors.

My own concerns were expressed in presentations I made to audiences around the world during the early 90s. Having an eye for nature and a passion for all things wild and wonderful and studying many of the sciences since I was a kid, the trends have been obvious. Some of the skeptics in my audiences would question why I expressed such concern about the shriveling leaves I saw during the growing seasons, on the trees outside the venue. I commented upon the record highs or low temperatures in those countries during my visit, every visit, in every city around the world. I was in touch with native leaders in various tribes and they also expressed grave concerns. But the same old, buzzed on and so to another day, nothing changed ˆ except things got worse and for some strange reason, blindness seemed to have set in with the public.

It‚s taken more drastic signs‚ to appear and louder voices to emerge for the public to awaken. Its taken this late hour for the leader of the western world to suddenly change 360% from just weeks ago saying the evidence of global warming was not yet in, to now floating the idea we should be doing something about it.

Earlier this week, the British tabloid newspaper ‘The Sun’ asked me if I would be prepared to be interviewed for a series they will be running on the UFO and crop circles.

The reason for their interest is the promised release of hitherto secret ufo files, this year by the British Government. They had interviewed Nick Pope, who many will know was the person who manned the ufo desk in the Ministry of Defense (MOD) a few years ago. Nick suggested they talk to me on the crop circle subject.

I had attended a number of meetings with Nick Pope, while he was at the MOD. The subject of some of my meetings was not crop circles but the UFO. I was involved with the initial series of meetings with Dr. Steven Greer and C.B. Scott Jones and US Naval Intelligence at the Monroe Institute, in Virginia during the 1990s. There were other meetings at the United Nations in New York and later at the MOD in Whitehall, London with Nick Pope. The meetings prepared to set into motion a concerted effort to encourage the British and U.S. governments to release their UFO files and to be more open and honest in the area of research. I was also pleased to help arrange the first public appearance for Nick Pope. His first of many presentations on the UFO and his roll at the Ministry was at the MUFON conference in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, United States, where I also spoke.

When I first met Nick Pope, I recognized that this was a man who appeared to have more on his mind and his conscience than his official job. I have been shown so far to be right. Perhaps there is more yet to be told by Nick?

The coming months will hopefully see important steps taken by governments and also individuals to help open up a part of the human experience, suppressed by deliberate policy. The total sum effect will be change - a change for good and a better informed and hence equipped public.

I was asked by The Sun, why now did I think the UK government had decided to open up the UFO files? My answer was that we live in an increasingly 'LIVE and NOW' age with cell cameras, video and live TV crews as well as the Internet. What this now offers is the unexpected and dramatic live coverage of important and impacting events. The unfolding of events as they happen on the Internet or television BEFORE the chance of governments to censor or bias the coverage. Its not that they want to do it but they are forced to.

A recent example using analogy:

The sickening sights in New Orleans when that rotating disc (hurricane Katrina) descended on the city and killed hundreds. We the people watched in dismay and horror as even the international media arrived, DAYS before the US government. The official government, who no doubt would have hood winked us into believing they did a great job just a few years ago, had been outsmarted and out paced by today’s technology. The government itself was undressed in front our very eyes. But it could have been anything else ˆ a UFO!
Had Katrina been substituted by something like a spinning UFO, and it could happen. It will happen. That scale of sighting (not unheard of) would have very significant ramifications for secret and unbecoming and unprepared officials.

Just this last week, there have been major UFO sightings in Texas, which was splashed onto the TV sets before official explanations were forthcoming. When the explanations came, they were woefully inadequate and timed out. The official, official word came only AFTER national coverage of the multiple sightings, on the popular 'Larry King' show. Earlier the military had said they had no aircraft in the area at the time, but later this was updated with the exact opposite being claimed. The second version being they had six fighter planes in the area and that was no doubt what the public had seen. These six planes it seems must have taken a full five minutes to 'float' over the heads of some of these witnesses and block out the stars for a full five minutes also! The mind boggles. A lesson in being unprepared in this live and now‚ time.

I guess we should not count our chicken until they have hatched though. Will files we know the British MOD have, show up in the release or will we again see manipulation and distortions and the 'real' hot stuff not seeing the light of day? Our fingers are crossed that they make the right decision this time.

I told The Sun‚ about a number of crop circle reports and incidents which I’ve known the MOD had on file. Some of these reports also included UFOs seen in the close proximity of the crop circles. I was asked about my meetings and tour of the circles with Sir David Mitchell, M.P. who was my local member of parliament during the period I was submitting technical reports to the government. These reports, based upon ground research by Pat Delgado, Dr. Terence Meaden, Busty Taylor and myself, were passed to the Under-Secretary of State for the Environment, Nicolas Ridley in Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher‚s cabinet.

How many of the crop circles are unexplained and what is causing them‰ were discussed at length. The new movie Circular Evidence‚ now in development will reveal what I believe the core essence of these two phenomena are. Also how the spirituality and human consciousness manifests itself when all of us get involved. It‚s a wonderful time to be on planet earth but time is getting short to provide a clear path ahead for our continuing existence here.

The Sun reporter told me that the series of articles is penciled in for publication as early as later this week or this weekend.
